John Dwyer will talk about the life and experiences of a soldier in NJ in 1780.
John portrays a soldier serving in the Continental Army, camped in New Jersey in the Winter of 1780. He wears the uniform and equipment carried by Revolutionary War soldiers and tells stories about his life, his pay, his food, and clothing and the campaigns he has participated in since 1777. He shows what he is carrying and explains his gear, weapons, and belongings in detail as he passes items around the audience to handle.
No registration required, however seating is first-come, first-seated.
